July 25, 2013 - Random Fact
Discovered in 2005, the Yeti Crab was found near boiling hot hydrothermal vents on floors in the South Pacific. These blind, white crabs have shaggy arms that house a variety of bacteria that the yeti dines on. It's this hair on its legs that gave it the name yeti, after the abominable snowman.
