September 30, 2013 - Bday

We all know giraffes have long necks and legs. Did you know they also have long tongues? They average 21 inches in length. They not only use this to their advantage by pulling tasty treats from trees, they also use it to clean their ears, eyes and yes, even their nose. Insects seem to settle in the nose and the tongue is the only tool they have to remove them...and I thought picking your nose with your finger was gross!
