Alligator's eggs hatch male babies in hot temperatures and female babies in cooler temperatures.According to the National Zoo Website if the nest is above 93 degrees all the babies will be male. If the nest is below 86 degrees all the babies will be female. If the temperature of the nest is in between 86 and 93, the babies will be both male and female.
