July 18, 2013 - Random Fact
If you had a housefly land on your food you probably won't want to eat it. The mouth of a housefly is like a sponge allowing it only to soak up liquid. When a housefly lands on your food it spits and vomits on it to turn it into a liquid. After it eats, some of the vomit and spit remain. This pest is found all over the world and can transmit disease. (Learning Calendar, July)
