Factories have been set up in India, Thailand and Sri Lanka to recycle elephant poop for paper. The waste is dried and cleaned to obtain fiber which is boiled to make it softer. It then goes through a pulp beater before it is set to dry as paper.

I have seen elephant poo paper and you would never know what it was made out of.
