Wastewater mechanics are in contact with raw sewage daily! Mechanics fix pumps on motors and other equipment often standing in sewage while they do it. Sewage is often splashed on them (oh my). The smell isn't too pleasant either! Workers also scrape and wash out surge tanks. This is dangerous because of the gases inside!
...I guess I shouldn't complain when I have to clean the cat litter!
