November 15, 2013 - A Day
Why is poop brown? Bile from your gall bladder helps your body digest food and then is metabolized by the bacteria in your large intestine, leaving behind a byproduct called stercobilin which gives it the brown color. Without stercobilin, poop would be a pale grey color. If your poop is brown it means your healthy.
